Piston are a British five piece rock n’ roll engine made up of four members from the midlands greased with a vocal roar from the south... which, when put together and fired up produce a no-nonsense sound not to be reckoned with!

"These guys are going to be HUGE!" - Sam Hughes, Planet Rock Radio

"This rocks hard... I LOVE IT. PISTON!" - Paul Anthony, Planet Rock Radio

"The guitarists slay! The sort of riffs that would go down in rock history! I love it." - Alex Baker, Kerrang! Radio

Piston’s 'Rainmaker' was A listed on Planet Rock (UK's #1 rock station). 'Rainmaker' was exclusively premiered online by Classic Rock Magazine and Louder Sound.

Piston's 'One More Day' was officially playlisted on Planet Rock and BBC Radio 2's rock show hosted by Johnnie Walker. Following the release, Planet Rock made Piston their 'Ones To Watch' for upcoming rock acts.

Piston released their highly anticipated debut album in 2019 and received publicity from various magazines including Classic Rock, Planet Rock, HRH, Powerplay, Fireworks and Black Velvet, plus over 100 music websites.

Piston's Jack Edwards had a six page interview in Total Guitar Magazine. The feature saw Edwards pair up with The Cult's Billy Duffy to discuss all things Gretsch and how Duffy once inspired him to pick up the guitar. Total Guitar published a feature with Jack titled 'Ones To Watch'. Music Radar nominated Jack Edwards and Luke Allatt of Piston for 'Best New Guitarist' 2019. The duo were voted #3 in Music Radar's 'Best New Guitarists In The World Right Now'.

Piston then went on to play UK shows with Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons. In November 2019, Piston toured as special guests to Glenn Hughes on his 'Performs Classic Deep Purple Live’ tour.

Piston's electrifying cover of Slade's 1972 anthem 'Mama Weer All Crazee Now' was premiered by Planet Rock with the official music video featuring cameos from new rock bands Bad Touch, Collateral, Gorilla Riot and more. The track was later played on BBC Introducing West Midlands.
